Mission

MoroccanAI is a community-driven initiative dedicated to building AI models tailored and trained on Moroccan native datasets. We focus on developing language technologies and domain-specific models that reflect the linguistic, cultural, and contextual realities of Morocco.

Our mission is to empower the Moroccan ecosystem — from researchers to developers to students — with high-quality, open AI tools that serve Moroccan society in Arabic, French, and Darija.

What We Do

Pretrain and fine-tune models for Moroccan Arabic (Darija), Modern Standard Arabic, and French
Curate and open-source datasets rooted in Moroccan culture, language, and needs
Build demos and Spaces that showcase real-world Moroccan AI applications
Support research and education by providing community-driven resources
